Direct Help Foundation

Real help, real people, real life stories ...

Welcome to Direct Help Foundation

As fighting continues to plague eastern Ukraine, fear of being caught in crossfire, subjected to physical harm or persecution, and of life with no future, has forced hundreds of thousands to flee their homes.
The number of internally displaced, registered people has already reached over one million, as officially reported on February, 14, 2015 by IDMC, (the unofficial number that includes unregistered refugees is estimated as 1,400,000), and this number is increasing rapidly.
Most of these people face bitter winter without proper shelters, basic accommodations and supplies, warm clothing, enough food and medicine. They have no place to live, to sleep, to eat and to get any medical help.As usual, children and elderly are the most vulnerable and suffer the greatest. It is a true, full-scale humanitarian crisis of great and tragic magnitude.

The crisis, which the Ukrainian government, mainly focused on military defense, is unable to resolve on its own, due to its priorities and lack of sufficient resources.
Our organization, Direct Help Foundation, was born out of our passion and inspiration to help innocent people, victims of this ongoing crisis.
We urgently need your support in providing humanitarian emergency aid to Ukrainian refugees during this difficult time.
The Direct Help Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
